Note from Lex -- Life has a funny way of never letting things get too serious, right? Picture this: It's our first time in the Hudson Valley in February, and we're out on this freezing little hiking adventure. I thought, "Hey, this is the moment!" So, I decide to pop the question to Jordan. But wait for it... in that instant, Jordan gets the first bloody nose of her adult life! But this pivotal moment in our lives only feels right to have been sprinkled with some unexpected silliness!

A love that
knows no
bounds
In 2018, a missed connection would become the foundation for a funny start to our love story. But fate had it’s eye on us. With a bit of help from technology (ahem *dating apps) and a touch of cosmic serendipity, our love story finally began to unfold.
On March 7, 2021, our paths officially crossed. After weeks of getting to know each other through phone calls and Facetime, we decided to meet up for a cup of coffee. After our first hug, we knew we had found a soulmate in each other.
One year later, we followed our intuition and moved from Chicago to the Hudson Valley to start a new chapter in our love story.
We've accomplished a lot in the time we’ve spent in the Hudson Valley. We bought our first home, renovated it, and started building a new life here. We feel like we have found the perfect place to settle down. Together, we have formed some of the most meaningful relationships of our lives, adopted the cutest dog ever - Huckleberry Rocketship Shomer, and found new versions of ourselves coming to life in our new surroundings.
To say that the stars aligned for us in an understatment. Our love is timeless and secure, and it gives us the freedom to be ourselves. What more can you ask for in life?
We are thrilled to share our wedding day with you as we embark on the next chapter of our story. We can’t wait to see you in August!

Getting around
Driving down the winding country roads of the scenic Hudson Valley will take your breath away with every bend and curve. It’s also the only way to get around. Our quaint county does not have ride-shares or on-demand taxi services. Renting a car is the best way to explore and ensure you get to every wedding festivity on time. We’ve got you covered with transportaion tips to make your journey to our celebration smooth and stress-free.

Backyard disco meets country chic
Think sequin dress with gardening clogs or your best linen dancing suit. We won’t be taking ourselves too seriously, so we hope you don’t either!
August in the HV can be tres warm in the heat of the day, but cools off at night. Bring a layer*
We’re not going to tell you what to do, but we would suggest leaving your highest heels 👠 at home unless you want them sunk in the soil.
